You’ll be visiting customer homes and specialise in fitting one of our awesome low tech products, including EV chargers, Solar Panels, or Air Source Heat Pumps, all in the name of helping to bring cleaner, greener energy to our customers.
You’ll be kitting out customer homes with green, super efficient Air Source Heat Pumps. Whether you’re wiring up a new system, or installing pipework and radiators, we’ve got a role for you.
You’ll know loads about energy, delivering great customer service to those with questions, doubts or an interest in generating their own green energy. You’ll be supporting customers with a passion for our mission whilst growing your career with us.
We’ve got a range of roles in Solar.
In our field services roles you’ll be installing brand new Solar Panels on customer roofs, working as part of a team to bring efficient and reliable energy to their homes. In our solar sales & support roles, you’ll guide our customers through their solar journey, from selling the panels, to planning the install, and answering any customer questions.
You’ll visit customer homes installing brand-new solar panels on roofs up and down the country. You’ll be moving material, running cables or conduit, grinding tiles, and supporting our Electricians in successfully installing solar panels.

We do things a little differently around here
We’ve switched corporate interviews for hands-on recruitment days, or Octopalooza events as we like to call them. During these events, you’ll get the opportunity to experience how we work whilst we find out more about the way you work. On the day, we’ll give you more info about the role you’ve applied for so you can take a deep dive into what it’s like to work with Octopus, and chat to current employees.

Complete our online blended assessment. This is made up of an online test, and three short video interview questions.
Depending on which role you apply for you’ll either join us at an Octopalooza hiring event, or a virtual assessment centre. At either event you’ll get to show us what you’ve got, and speak to current employees.
